Trade India®
Moving at the speed of India.
Trade India helped wire Indian B2B long before “digital-first” was a buzzword. By 2019, the platform still owned recall—but its brand felt dial-up in a 5G world. The mandate to Lazy Eight: keep the iconic name, super-charge everything else so the brand moves as fast as the SMEs it serves.
We cracked the brief in one line—Moving at the speed of India—and built a system to match. A high-velocity scarlet anchors the palette, sliced with kinetic yellows lifted from highway reflectors. A modular word-mark flexes from favicon to hoarding, while bold geometric cuts echo flyovers, freight lanes and fibre routes. Photography follows suit: motion-blur highways, turbine palettes, a new Indian face marked by a single bindi-pixel of TradeIndia orange.
The product followed the story. Search, filters and RFQ flows were rebuilt for one-hand mobile use; a three-step “Quick Book” turns browse-to-order in under 45 seconds. Content blocks auto-adapt by region and sector, so a shoe exporter in Agra and a turbine supplier in Coimbatore both feel instantly at home.
Result: a 28-year-old pioneer now looks, reads and converts like a born 2020s marketplace—iconic red intact, engine entirely new. Trade India’s next chapter isn’t just online; it’s on-chain, on-mobile and always in motion, exactly like the market it fuels.
