From campus drone startup to India’s aerial-intelligence leader.

Born at IIT Kanpur as Aarav Unmanned Systems, the company mastered drone tech while the market was still learning the word “UAV.” A decade later the hardware, software and flight hours were world-class, but the AUS name felt campus-bound. The founders wanted a brand built for global runways—and asked Lazy Eight to handle the lift-off.

We started with the rename: AEREO—short, border-agnostic, a quick inhale of the word “aerial.” The identity keeps that breath of flight. A feather-inspired infinity loop anchors the mark; sky-range blues meet contour-line textures that echo the land AEREO surveys. Motion cues rise and bank like a drone on autopilot.

Visual logic is matched by scalability logic. Colour ramps extend to industry modules (mining, agri, infra), the word-mark nests into partner lock-ups, and UI components drop straight into fleet dashboards. From pitch deck to payload case, the system moves as seamlessly as the drones it represents.

AEREO now leads India’s drone-services market and is logging miles abroad with a brand ready for altitude. Proof that a technically brilliant company can own the sky once its identity flies as high as its product.
