Elevating a neighbourhood trattoria into a fine-casual contender.

Evoo’s handmade pastas and wood-fired pies already owned Delhi evenings, but the founders had bigger plates to fill. They envisioned a fine-casual Italian brand that could travel to new cities, land on global award lists and still feel as warm as the first dining room. Lazy Eight stepped in to raise the ceiling—not rebuild the floor.

We refined the positioning from “local trattoria” to “India-grown authority on fine-casual Italian,” then built a brand system that balances rustic authenticity with modern restraint. Terracotta, olive and wood-smoke neutrals ground the palette; a grain-textured word-mark and micro-motion accents nod to flour bursts and basil tears. The same language rolls into menus, signage and the R&D-driven Evoo Pasta Lab, giving each new concept its own flavour without diluting the core.

Digital completes the circle. A booking-led site pairs cinematic food photography with one-hand checkout for on-the-go diners, while social templates keep every new dish instantly shareable. Evoo now presents like a global fine-casual player yet keeps the warmth that filled its first queue—ready for Mumbai, Dubai and any critic’s notebook.
