Simple Energy®

Simple Energy®

Designing the brand (and UI) for India’s next-gen EV.

Simple Energy didn’t just want an electric scooter; it wanted a new benchmark for Indian mobility—longer range, sharper engineering, less noise in every sense. Lazy Eight joined at day zero, pairing with the founders and industrial-design crew to build a launchpad that could scale from first prototype to future vehicle line-up.

Identity first: a lightning-shaped S mark signals speed and stored energy, paired with a custom, tech-lean grotesk and a black-on-white palette that feels at home in both pit lane and app store. Beyond the logo we mapped dashboard UI, OTA update flows and concept renders for next-gen batteries, so every touch-point—tank badge, touchscreen, website—speaks one visual language.

The result is a brand ecosystem engineered for forward motion, ready to ride from India’s city streets to the global EV conversation. Proof that when strategy, hardware and design sprint together, the future shows up a little faster.
