Roasting a neighborhood idea into India’s coffee icon.


Blue Tokai began as a small roastery built on one belief: India was ready for specialty coffee. The beans were exceptional and the cafés had a distinct, slow roast atmosphere, but the brand platform needed the strength to move beyond physical storefronts and scale into something national.

We joined at that turning point. The task was to translate a sensory, hands on ritual into a digital experience that guided customers with the same warmth and clarity. We rebuilt Shopify UX for both discovery and conversion, designed product pages around narrative and tasting notes, introduced color cues for flavor profiles and created subscription flows that matched home brewing habits.

Beyond digital, we established the first packaging grid and a full investor collateral system so bag, box and pitch deck all carried the same craft forward language. Every asset was engineered for growth.

Today Blue Tokai has become the shorthand for good coffee in India. Dozens of cafés, a thriving e commerce engine and beans reaching international shelves. A reminder that when you set the brand foundation early, a neighborhood roastery can become a continental ritual.
