Westpoint Mall®

Westpoint Mall®

Anchoring Sikkim’s new youth culture in brick, bytes, and bold colour.

When Sikkim’s first shopping centre was scoped, the founders didn’t want “just another mall.” They envisioned a culture hub where retail, community and creative expression could mix-tape together. Lazy Eight stepped in from day zero to give that ambition a name, a face and a full set of way-finding breadcrumbs.

We crafted a brand system that feels as upbeat as Gangtok’s street art: confident sans typography, punchy gradients and motion motifs lifted from dance and downhill skating. The language flows through everything—billboards, hoardings, elevator wraps, even the parking-lot pillars—so every corner of the building hums the same tune.

Digital mirrors the physical energy. A scroll-snappy site pairs oversized type with flick-book imagery, listing stores, events and local collabs in two taps. Social templates and motion stingers keep launch campaigns sharp, while performance ads drive footfall without losing the brand’s playful cadence.

Today Westpoint isn’t just Sikkim’s first mall; it’s shorthand for the region’s forward-facing identity. Proof that when you blend place, youth and design clarity, a commercial space can become a cultural landmark.
