A seamless island journey, from floatplane to hammock.

When Trans Maldivian Airways—the world’s largest seaplane fleet—decided to move beyond air lifts and curate the entire holiday, they needed a brand separate from the cockpit yet inseparable from the islands. They asked Lazy Eight to invent it from the sand up.

We named and framed Only Maldives as the easy button for paradise: one cart, one checkout, one memory-filled itinerary. The identity leans on “island ease through modern restraint” — muted lagoon blues, sun-washed corals, rounded letterforms, and wave-like motion cues that feel equal parts premium and barefoot.

Digital became the hero touch-point. We designed a full booking web-app that lets travellers toggle seaplane seats, villa tiers and dive add-ons without leaving a single flow. Soft scroll reveals, map-based package compare, and live tide-time widgets turn planning into pre-holiday escapism.

From cabin cards to QR-driven concierge guides, every element speaks the same light-footed language. Only Maldives now unifies air, land and sea under one intuitive promise—and gives the archipelago a tourism brand built to charm globetrotters as effortlessly as a sunset dhoni ride.
